Update: Situation at Strandpark Vlugtenburg in connection with the corona virus until 6 April

Our holiday park is still open for our guests. We want to try to follow the most recent guidelines from the government and RIVM as closely as possible.

At the moment, this means at least the next two changes to our policy:

  • Our employees of restaurant Vlugtenburg are happy to visit your bungalow to deliver meals. From March 20 you will also be able to collect dishes.
  • Cleaning and hygiene in general have our keenest attention and care.

Of course we follow the situation closely. If changes occur, we will communicate this via our website and social media channels. The safety of our employees and guests is paramount.

We hope for your understanding in this uncertain period. We trust that we can take care of each other in an atmosphere of tolerance and kindness. We are committed to this with love and energy!

Cancellations

 

  • If you want to cancel your holiday due to the Coronavirus outbreak, there is no right to a refund, as the Netherlands and therefore the surroundings of our holiday park have not been “locked” by the government. The conditions of the RECRON come into effect in case of cancellation.

 

  • If you want to cancel your holiday, as you come from an area where the Coronavirus has broken out, there is no right to a refund, as there is no telling that you have been infected. In this case we use the conditions of the RECRON.

 

  • If your region has been “locked” by the government and you cannot use your holiday at Strandpark Vlugtenburg as a result, that is the risk of you as a holidaymaker. We can still offer the holiday to you, but you cannot take the holiday. The risk then lies with you as a holidaymaker and in this case we also use the conditions of the RECRON.

 

  • If you have taken out cancellation insurance through us and because of the outbreak of the Corona virus, you no longer want to go on holiday, we will work with you to find a solution to move the reservation to another date so that you can still enjoy your well-deserved holiday enjoy.

 

  • If you have become ill yourself, you can rely on your cancellation insurance. Whether a reimbursement takes place is determined by the RECRON.

Precautions

First of all, we adhere to all the rules that RIVM prescribes for us.

  • Our employees of restaurant Vlugtenburg are happy to visit your bungalow to deliver meals.
  • Cleaning and hygiene in general have our keenest attention and care.
  • Door handles are always disinfected
  • Our staff has adapted working hours and adjusted breaks so that we minimize contact with each other
  • Our housekeeping works with gloves on as standard
  • The facility service will only immediately solve the truly necessary malfunctions. We do ask whether the guest can leave the house for a while

With Deliveries we handle as follows:

  • If you are present as a guest in the house, we will knock on the door to drop the delivery and let you take the delivered item yourself
  • If you are not present, we will put the delivered goods on the doormat in the house.
