What are the check-in and check-out times?

If you have booked a chalet, bungalow or safari tent, you can check in from 3 pm. On the day of departure, we ask you to leave the accommodation tidy before 10:00 and check out at the reception.

Are you staying in the Pipowagen on the beach? Then you can check in from 15:00 and check out again at 09:15.

In our various accommodations you can also opt for an early check-in, so that you can enter from 12:00. The costs for this are €25.

The luxury hiker’s tent has a check-in time of 13:00 and a check-out time of 11:00.

When you have reserved a camping pitch, you can check in from 13:00. Check-out on the day of departure is before 12 noon.

After you have checked out, you can still use the public areas at Vlugtenburg all day long. Would you like to check out early before the reception opens? Then you can leave the key in the red letterbox opposite the reception.

Can I reserve a specific accommodation?

It is possible to reserve a specific accommodation. Do you have a preference for a specific bungalow, chalet, pipowagon or safari tent? Please contact us. If it is available, we will reserve it for you. We charge a preferential amount of €15 for this.

Is there an oven in the accommodation?

No, an oven is unfortunately not available in our accommodations.

What are the opening hours of the barrier?

The entrance barrier of our park is open from 07:00 to 23:00. Are you arriving after this time? Then you can park in the visitor’s parking lot opposite the reception.

How many cars are allowed in the park?

It does not matter how many cars you come with, they can all be in the park. Whether the cars can be parked near your accommodation depends on the number of available parking spaces. Otherwise they can be parked a bit further in the park. If that is the case, we also have luggage carts. Ideal for getting your things in the right place.

Can we still go on holiday at Vlugtenburg holiday park?

Yes, our park is open as usual! But it’s an understandable question. We understand that you want to go on holiday with peace of mind. We do our utmost for that. Your vacation can still continue. The same national guidelines apply to a stay at the parks as those you follow at home. In addition, we are taking a number of extra measures.

Is there an animation team at Strandpark Vlugtenburg?

During the holidays, an enthusiastic animation team is present on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Read all about our animation team here.

Can I rent bicycles at Vlugtenburg?

Yes, we have men’s, women’s and children’s and electric bicycles for hire. You don’t necessarily need to reserve the bikes in advance (only if you want to make sure we still have enough). The electric bicycle must be reserved at least one day in advance. We also have child seats for rent, which we can attach to the back or front of the bicycle. Look here for the rates.

How does the wireless internet work and are there any costs involved?

Use of Wi-Fi in the park is free. The bungalows and chalets are equipped with their own Wi-Fi router. There is a clear explanation about its use in the accommodation. It goes without saying!

On the camping site you need a password to connect and you can request this at the reception.

What does the VIP package include?

The VIP package contains the following items: a towel package per person (two large towels), a kitchen towel package (tea towel and towel) and one complete breakfast per person, which will be delivered on a selected day.

Are groups of young people allowed on Vlugtenburg?

Young people under the age of 21 are not allowed in the park. Groups of young people under the age of 30 pay a deposit of €250 in advance. These will be returned by bank at the end of the holiday if they behave well and a tidy bungalow has been left behind. You will receive the deposit form with the associated rules with your booking confirmation.

Can I bring my dog to Strandpark Vlugtenburg?

We have a number of bungalows that are suitable for guests who would like to bring their dog. Due to the availability of these bungalows, dogs are only allowed on request and must be registered when making the reservation. There is a maximum of two dogs per bungalow. We also charge € 3.50 per dog, per night and a one-off € 12.50 extra cleaning costs. Dogs must be on a leash at the park.

Are dogs allowed on Vlugtenburg beach?

Dogs are allowed on Vlugtenburg beach. Check the website of our municipality for the current rules for Beach Entrance Vlugtenburg and the other Westland beaches.

Are dogs allowed on the campsite?

Dogs are allowed on the campsite. However, these must be registered when making the reservation. There are also additional costs of € 3.50 per dog, per night.

When does my reservation have to be paid?

When you have made a reservation you will receive a confirmation in the mail with a payment date. The full amount must be paid before arrival at the beach location.

First of all, you will receive a down payment, followed by a reminder of the outstanding balance.

Have you made a reservation and is your arrival within two weeks of the reservation made? Then you can no longer pay in installments and the payment is made in one go.
