We stayed here as it was close to the ferry port and has a full range of facilities which are clean and welcoming. Having visited a few times before, we had never fully explored the site beyond our overnight pitch. This year we walked around and towards the beach. We were very impressed by the full range of facilities for families to enjoy a longer stay. The restaurants looked great as did the pool and play areas for the children. The beach is just a few minutes walk away and looked very welcoming. We will recommend that our families visit here soon. The only thing I would point out is that the pitches do get quite muddy when it rains. This spoils the overall effect of the site. I suggest that the very worn-out grass patches are replaced with more hard-wearing gravel or similar...

Very efficient email process from start to finish, excellent communication. It is a very relaxed location with excellent facilities for children, and a lovely beach. Good transport links and so close to the Ferry terminal.

We enjoyed our stay at Vlugtenburg and would definitely come again. Campsite is very close to the beach, toilets and showers are clean, electricity and Wi-Fi works smoothly. If there only would be more trees to make more shade in very hot summer days..

Toilets were clean but felt a bit tired and probably a bit small for the size of the touring pitches. Same for showers Pitches and grass areas seemed a bit untidy Great location for the beach
