Beachpark Vlugtenburg offers plenty of activities and facilities for children. Discover below which ones you definitely have to try!
The splashing Water Playground!
There’s a cool water playground at Vlugtenburg too!
Slide down the slides, run through the water jets, or play an interactive mini-game. Climb onto the large boat and slide down through the water or splash everyone with one of the water jets on top of the boat.

A huge playground
It is a challenging and versatile playground with something for every child. Various climbing structures and play panels ensure an unforgettable play experience. Children from 2 to 14 years old can play here to their heart’s content, without and with limitations. Another big plus is that the playground is adjacent to the restaurant Eetcafé Zout where parents can relax on the terrace. And honestly, what parent wouldn’t want that?
Playcafe Sweet
It’s always a party at Speelcafé Zoet! Our entertainment room, across from eatery Salt, is the perfect base for all-out fun. Every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday there are all kinds of adventures to be had, and during the vacations even almost every day! Always party really does mean always party with us. Is it a craft party or our mini-disco. We at Speelcafé Zoet always make it a party!
Indoor play area
Adjacent to the restaurant’s conservatory is a cozy indoor play area for little ones. The room is completely underwater themed, with cheerful details and colorful underwater animals everywhere. In the middle is a real boat to go on an adventure! Furthermore, children can play together with big blocks or at the table full of cars. There is always something fun to do here!
From the boat you can sail straight to the beach where Bink is waiting for you waving! Which friends will you come explore the play space with?

Food and drink
Tasty food and drink is, of course, part of being on holiday. Our park has a fun restaurant for the whole family: Eetcafé Zout!
Eetcafé Zout
Right next to the dunes, near the beach, is Eetcafé Zout. After a wonderful day at the beach or a brisk bike ride through Westland, you can join us here. Enjoy a cooling drink while the children play in the adjacent playground. Or enjoy one of our delicious dishes with the whole family!
Pizza oven
uring the summer months, we regularly host a Pizza Party! The outdoor oven will be fired up, and for a small fee, you can become your own chef. Top your pizza with whatever you like: tuna, salami, ham, or just vegetables and enjoy eating your own pizza fresh and delicious. That’s the ultimate holiday feeling, isn’t it? Breakfast Service
Start the day with a delicious breakfast for which you do not have to do anything. Isn’t that the ultimate holiday feeling?! Order your rolls at the reception, in our restaurant, or online via our webshop, And we ensure that freshly baked bread rolls are delivered to you on the desired morning. You can choose from individual sandwiches or a complete breakfast with all the trimmings!
Practicalities
On holiday, of course, you also need practical things. Like plumbing and washing machines to keep yourself fresh!
Sanitary buildings
Clean sanitary facilities are an important prerequisite for an enjoyable holiday. Stranpark Vlugtenburg has three sanitary buildings. Including places to wash your dishes, water taps and a place to empty the waste water tank. So you can start each holiday day fresh.
Washing machine room
Next to the reception you will find a laundry room to do your laundry. Pretty handy when you’re on holiday for a long time! Thanks to a handy touchscreen display, setting up the machines is a breeze. All you have to do is put the laundry in and out, and of course just keep an eye on the time….
Charging posts
With the rise of the electric car, of course, these cannot be missing from our park. You will find several charging stations at our park that you can use. Have you finished loading? Then move your car again to another spot so someone else can charge their car! Questions about using our charging stations? Please contact our reception.
Bike rental
No bike on holiday? No problem! Rent a bicycle through our reception. There are quite a few bikes in stock but on a nice day they go very quickly. Want to be sure of a bike? Click below!
Free WiFi
All guests at our park can enjoy free Wi-Fi. Even in the Tiny Lodges on the beach! The code can be found in the welcome booklet, but of course you can also ask one of our reception staff. That way you can (in bad weather) binge-watch a series with the sound of the waves in the background!
Facilities for the disabled
Giving everyone a holiday with a smile! We do this with the help of the Avavieren Foundation. We have a number of care bungalows that contribute to this, but you can also book extras. Such as:
